FYVP and Goals for Gaza are teaming up to bring you ANTI CUP: a football tournament at Evolve Soccer LA.
ANTI CUP is a one-day tournament of 5v5 games on both a turf and futsal fields - please specify which field type you would like to play on below. Upon check-in to the tournament you will receive an official ANTI CUP tee to wear during the matches and take home!
Football existed long before the commercialization of FIFA. ANTI CUP honors the 77 nations of the Global South who have upheld its culture for centuries.
If you're not a player but a fan, please come to Evolve to cheer us on! We will announce the official ANTI-CUP afterparty soon.
All proceeds from ANTI CUP support Lajee Celtic Football Club of Aida Refugee Camp in the West Bank + families in Iran and Venezuela. The ticket covers expenses and some fundraising. If you are able to give more (or are not a player but would like to support) please add on donation tickets!
Note to players:
- Arrive promptly at 1PM on August 1! YOU MUST BE ON TIME TO PARTICIPATE. It's street parking so please allow yourself extra time to find a spot.
- ANTI CUP tees will be distributed at check-in. It will be first come first served for sizing.
- We will provide some water but encourage you to bring your own.
- Evolve is a non-cleat facility. All players must wear turf shoes on the field. All futsal players must wear futsal shoes or sneakers. If you come in cleats you will not be able to play!
- Shinguards are recommended, but not required.
We will email all players with a form and waiver to fill out upon registration. You must complete both before the tournament - NO WAIVER NO PLAY!!!
*ANTI CUP is a fundraiser + we cannot provide refunds for any reason. If you realize you can't be there on August 1, please let us know and we will donate your registration to another player.
